01
The challenge
Seasonal demand meant every missed enquiry in spring was revenue lost for the year. The old site buried the phone number and gave homeowners no reason to trust the crew.
02
Our approach
We rebuilt the site as a single high-intent path: a hero that names the service and the city, proof (reviews, warranty, years in trade) within the first scroll, and a quote form that never leaves the screen. Neighbourhood coverage — Kanata, Orleans, Barrhaven, Westboro — was written into the page so local searches have something to match.
03
The outcome
A fast, mobile-first site where the primary call to action is visible at every scroll depth, with structured data for local service search and a clean base for ongoing SEO.
Design decisions
Three choices that made the difference.
Quote form pinned to every scroll depth
Homeowners comparing eavestrough quotes rarely scroll twice. The estimate form travels with the page on desktop and collapses into a sticky bar on mobile, so the action is never more than one tap away no matter where a visitor stops reading.
Neighbourhood coverage written as content, not a footer list
Kanata, Orleans, Barrhaven, Nepean and Westboro each get real sentences about the housing stock and the work typically done there, giving Google something specific to match against suburb-level searches instead of a keyword dump.
Proof above the fold
Years in trade, warranty terms and review counts sit in the first viewport. In a trade where anyone can print a magnet and call themselves a contractor, visible legitimacy is the conversion lever.
What the site was built to be found for
Built to capture high-intent seasonal demand: eavestrough replacement, soffit and fascia, gutter guards and repair queries across Ottawa suburbs, plus the emergency 'near me' searches that spike after storms.
Where we would take it next
Expanding into seasonal landing pages ahead of the spring and fall demand spikes, and building a gallery of before/after installs by neighbourhood.
What we built
- —Single-path home page with sticky estimate capture
- —Service pages for eavestrough, soffit, fascia and gutter guards
- —Neighbourhood coverage content for five Ottawa districts
- —LocalBusiness structured data and review markup
- —Managed submissions pipeline with email notification
Responsive build
The same site, engineered for the phone in your customer's hand.
Tap-to-call in the header, a quote action always in reach, and images sized for mobile data. The mobile view is not a shrunken desktop — it is the primary design.
